Terms of sale
These terms apply when you buy from Agnix Lighting Hub through this website, on WhatsApp or by phone. They don't affect your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 or any other Nigerian law.
1. About us
Agnix Lighting Hub is run by Agnix Global Ltd (RC 9336142), Kajola Junction, Imo, Ilesa, Osun State.
2. Products, photos and prices
- Prices are in Nigerian Naira and can change. The price we confirm to you on WhatsApp before you pay is the price you pay.
- Some photos on this website are illustrations or examples of the product type, not photos of the exact item. Ask us for a photo or video of the actual item before you buy; we're happy to send one.
- If we've made an obvious pricing mistake, we'll tell you before you pay and you can cancel or accept the correct price.
- Stock shown as available can sell out. We confirm availability before taking payment.
3. How an order works
- Sending your basket or a list is a request, not a completed order.
- We confirm the items, total price and any delivery cost on WhatsApp. Your order is accepted when you've paid and we've confirmed receipt.
- We only take payment into accounts sent to you from our official numbers, 0912 107 7224 and 0810 582 1830. We'll never ask you to pay a personal account given by someone else.
4. Delivery and pickup
- We deliver across Nigeria. The delivery cost and an estimated time are confirmed before you pay.
- Please check your order when it arrives and tell us about any damage or missing items within 48 hours, with photos or a video.
- Pickup is available at our branches during opening hours.
5. Returns, refunds and faulty goods
See our returns and refunds policy. Your legal right to a repair, replacement or refund for goods that are defective, unsafe or not as described is not affected.
6. Electrical safety
- Electrical products should be installed by a qualified electrician, following the manufacturer's instructions and applicable safety standards.
- Check that the product's rating (for example voltage, current and wattage) suits your installation before you buy. Ask us if you're not sure.
- We aren't responsible for loss or damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse or alterations, except where the law says we are.
7. Trade accounts
Trade prices and referral rewards for electricians and contractors are agreed individually and confirmed in writing (including on WhatsApp). We can change or end trade terms with reasonable notice.
8. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our failure to meet these terms or our legal duties. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
9. Website content
The Agnix name and logo, website text and design belong to Agnix Global Ltd. Some photographs are used under the Unsplash licence and fonts under the SIL Open Font License. Please don't copy our content for commercial use without permission.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If something goes wrong, please contact us first and we'll try to resolve it quickly. You can also contact the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
