This policy explains what personal information Agnix Lighting Hub collects through agnixlighting.com, why, how long we keep it and your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. We collect as little as we can: only what we need to answer you, sell to you and deliver your order.

All fields marked optional can be left empty. We do not ask for your date of birth, ID numbers, bank card details or passwords on this website.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your personal information.
- We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't use analytics that follow you across sites. Our visitor counts come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free.
- We don't take card payments on this website. Payment details are only ever sent to you on WhatsApp from our official numbers after we confirm your order.
Who we share it with
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and stores form submissions for us, as our data processor.
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) carries your messages when you choose to contact us on WhatsApp. WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that service.
- Delivery companies receive your name, phone number and delivery address only when we send you an order.
- Google receives your IP address and may set cookies only if you choose to load a Google Map on our site (see our cookie policy).
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
Information sent outside Nigeria
Cloudflare, WhatsApp and Google run their services from data centres around the world, so your information may be processed outside Nigeria. We only use providers that commit to protecting personal data under contract, and we rely on the safeguards permitted by sections 41 to 43 of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
How long we keep it
- Orders, quotes, trade account requests and messages sent through the website are deleted automatically 24 months after we receive them, unless we need them longer for an open order, a dispute or a legal requirement such as tax records.
- Your basket is stored only on your own device and never sent to us until you choose to send it.
- WhatsApp conversations are kept in our business WhatsApp account and deleted when no longer needed for your orders.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- delete your information
- stop or limit how we use it, or object to our use of it
- send your information to you or another organisation in a common format
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent
Contact us using the details below. We'll confirm who you are and reply within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Security
Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Form submissions are stored in a private database that only authorised staff can open with a password. Access attempts to the admin area are rate-limited.
Children
Our products and website are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
